First of all, let me start with the dress is kind of shaped like a tent. If you do not put a belt on it, But once you put the belt on, it’s killer! Changed it entirely! I am pretty standard size medium, and things women’s eat and I do have a smaller chest and I probably could’ve gotten a size small but I got the medium and it’s fine because I can sense the waist, but the arm holes are a little bit big and it is a little big around my bust without a belt. I could not even think about wearing it so make sure you have a black belt or some color belt that coordinates with it. I recommend a wide one. I am 5 foot seven about 138 pounds and think it is a fantastic looking dress once it is belted!
Delaney dress is very well made, beautiful Garden Party print, loose but shapely, very versatile. I know I will always feel good in it - it's a "go to" dress for many occasions. Received a lot of compliments the first time I wore it. Love the pockets!!
I am so happy with this dress! I chose to order it with the Frogs buckle/red strap. What a great deal to get the $95 belt for $50 as an add-on to the dress. I had been wanting the buckle anyway so it was perfect. I've worn the dress with the belt and without. It's definitely elevated with the frog buckle and I got so many compliments!
I think this style would look much better on a taller person. It makes me look much wider than I actually am even with the cute bird belt. It looks somewhat like a maternity dress. However, the fabric and quality of sewing is quite good.
