This dress will be my mother-of-the bride dress when my daughter gets married in a few weeks. The wedding is in a Japanese garden and the temps will be in the 90s, so I wanted something with light fabric that wasn't super formal, and this fit the bill. I did have a seamstress take out some of the volume and pockets in the skirt (along with hemming it to a shorter length) since I'm short and plus-sized. Looks great and I am looking forward to wearing this. Your site had a much better selection of this kind of dress than many of the stodgy sites/stores that specialize in this sort of thing.
I love this dress! The fit is great! I was worried about it being too low cut, but it really isn't, and it's not too long for a short person like me. The pockets are always a plus, and it just moved and shifted so well. I got tons of compliments.
Love this dress! The ties aren’t long enough wrap around and back to the front at this size, but they look great just crossed, wrapped around and tied in the back. The fabric is gorgeous, and is also comfy and lightweight - I’ve gotten lots of compliments when I wear it out.
Yesterday I wore my first Lesley Evers dress to our 20th anniversary party.”Candace” was given many compliments, all I could say was IT HAS POCKETS! Every detail is just spot on, the belt is long enough to wrap around and tie in the front or back, the armholes are gape free, the elasticized back waist ensures the fit is just right, and it feels amazing to wear.
I’m a never sleeveless kind of woman of a certain age, but this dress spoke to me. I love it. It fits beautifully and I look forward to wearing it-with a light linen shawl;)
The style and print are just gorgeous! I feel so pretty in it. The top was slightly wide on me, but I was afraid that sizing down would mean that it wouldn’t fit. Fortunately I was able to take it in and it’s perfect. I can’t wait to wear it.
This dress is gorgeous! It can be easily dressed up or more casual. The fabric feels wonderful and the print is feminine without being too sweet. I loved it so much that I ordered the other print also. I have received numerous compliments each time I have worn Candace. Fit feels roomy but true to size. Very comfortable and flattering.
Beautiful dress with high-quality material and wonderful stitching. I had to alter it as the arm holes were too large and I needed to take darts in to make it fit better and not show my bra. Be aware that you might need to alter it slightly.. Everything else was on point-beautiful and of great quality.
I loved the print of the dress but on me this was a total miss. The print was too large for me to look good in it and the dress was short waisted for me. The smocked waist and the tie hit me in the wrong place. I looked like a beached whale, so this one had to go back!
