I have this dress in another print and loved it and thought this print was different enough that people would not notice it's the same dress. It's great to have the pockets, fabric that moves with you and it doesn't wrinkle when you wear the dress or pack it in your suitcase.
I own five of these dresses, and depending on the pattern use them for very different purposes. One I dress up with matching stockings and tall boots, another is Barcelona yellow and strictly for fun summer days with a bucket hat, and several in between. One of the most comfortable items of clothing I own and because the patterns are so varied [I also own it in Garden Party and Dots Blue] that no one ever figures out it is the same dress. This is a winner!
I'm on Tippi #8! They are the perfect teaching dress--comfortable, stretchy, pocketed (!), soft, and yet durable. The fabrics are fun and bright. I've hemmed some into short sleeve dresses so I don't have 8 identical dresses, but honestly, the fabrics are so different, I don't think it is obvious I'm wearing the same dress (style). They also pack well for travel. They can be dressed down or up. The fabric is relatively thick, but I haven't found it to be hot--even in Atlanta. Obviously at #8, they are a hit with me. As a shortie, they are one of the few LE dresses that works for me (LE this is a polite official call for many more dress styles of this length or shorter so I can expand--I still have to hem Tippis to get to knee length!). Love this dress.
