The Cordelia Gown is designed for life’s most memorable celebrations. The structured floor-length silhouette, simple but sweet neckline and cap sleeves evoke timeless glamour, while the soft waist tie provides a subtle, flattering shape. I imagine wearing this for weddings, formal receptions or charity galas.
I bought this dress to wear for my daughter’s wedding next June. My daughter’s name is Lily and she is named after Lily of the Valley, which is my favorite flower. The minute I saw this dress, I knew I had to get it!
This dress is absolutely stunning. This doesn’t show in the picture, but the blue background has flecks of gold and the leaves and stems also have a metallic thread running through them. The fabric is a decent weight- not too heavy and not too thin.
I ordered a medium and it fits perfectly. It needs no alterations. I’m 5’4” and it hits the floor at a perfect length. I’m planning to wear a sandal/shoe with a kitten heel and that will be just enough so it doesn’t drag on the ground.
I can’t wait to wear this next June!
I couldn’t love this dress more if I tried! I’m wearing it to my daughter’s wedding in three weeks. I’m 5’4.5 and I weigh 125. I ordered a size small. It fits perfectly. I love how the dress is made without a line where the belt is tied. It allows for you to determine exactly where you want the belt tied and not show that line when it goes wrong. I live on the east coast in NC and it arrived at my door in less than a week! The packaging was gorgeous! I will feel so beautiful on my daughters big day!
The Cordelia dress is truly so beautiful! The fabric is rich, the dress is well made, and the colors in person are even prettier than on the website. I love the design and shape. It’d be very easy and comfortable to wear while also being incredibly elegant and sophisticated.
Unfortunately, though it fit me across the shoulders, the rest of the dress hung much too loose on me and the bodice was too long. When I tied the belt, the fabric puckered. I am about 5’5” and 130lbs, and I ordered the small. I am a round person (belly, hips, rear) rather straight, and I have a small chest. I would have had to take in the bodice and waist to have it fit properly and to prevent the puckering. I would have tried the extra small, but I suspected it would be too tight across the shoulders and under the arms.
Truthfully, if I had had more time before my daughter’s wedding, I would have happily had it altered. It’s a really gorgeous and comfortable dress, and the seams and darts will make alterations really easy.
